A complaint about your GP or his assistant is very unpleasant for you and we take it very seriously. We therefore ask you to make the complaint known to us. This can be done verbally, by phone or by email. We will gladly discuss the matter with you and will do our utmost to find a solution!

 

Should you fail to reach a solution with us, the main means of filing a complaint in case of violation of patients’ rights in Portugal is the “Livro de Reclamações“, which means “complaints book” in Portuguese. “All companies providing a public service must have a complaints book available, where consumers can enter their complaint when faced with a less comfortable situation that directly affects their rights.”
